Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica!
Arrival to Juan Santamaría International Airport. Meet and Greet by our Local Representative and transfer to your hotel

Day 2 San Jose > Sarapiquí
Breakfast at the hotel and morning at leisure. Departure on transfer to Sarapiquí Area. The rest of day is for leisure to explore the surroundings on your own.

Day 3 Hacienda Pozo Azul
After Breakfast, visit to Hacienda Pozo Azul
HACIENDA POZO AZUL
The Hacienda's many trails have plenty of natural fauna, beautiful rivers and waterfalls. You will feel your adrenaline rise as you discover the wonders of Hacienda Pozo Azul with a thrilling (and safe) Treetop Canopy Ride ending with a spectacular 900-foot zip line across the Sarapiquí River. Also, the exhilaration of white water rafting with the Sarapiquí's year round class II and III rapids (as well as the expert's
class IV upon request and for an additional charge ), all with top quality equipment and experienced certified guides.

Day 4 Sarapiquí > Arenal
After breakfast at hotel, ground transfer to Arenal Volcano. Upon arrival participants mayselect one of the following activities:
HORSEBACK RIDING TO ARENAL VOLCANO
With our healthy and well trained horses, we start this incredible guided tour, from the hotel for 3 hours, crossing rivers and through the trails in the rain forest, enjoying all the views of the San Carlos plains, and the amazing lava paths of the majestic Arenal Volcano. We can see also, monkeys, birds like toucans, turkeys, hawks, falcons etc.
HIKING TOUR TO ARENAL VOLCANO
A unique experience, guided hiking tour through the rain forest, to spot monkeys, and birds, with a lot of explanations about flora, fauna and the volcano history. This hike will be during 2 hours, around a loop. After that, we will take the bus, to go to the west side of the Arenal Volcano, where according to weather conditions; we can see red lava flows.
CANOPY TOUR
You will enjoy different platforms where you can see the impressive Canyon of the Arenal River and the extraordinary flora and fauna of the rain forest. You will have the opportunity to see the three kinds of monkeys that live in this zone, toucans, hummingbird, sloths, etc.

Day 5 Arenal > Monteverde
7:00 am Breakfast at the hotel followed by transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest Area.
ARENAL TO MONTEVERDE BY ARENAL LAKE
This service, half tour – half transfer is a scenic, fast and the newest way to go or come from La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano Area) to Monteverde area. We start with a 30 minutes microbus drive to the Arenal Lake Dam. There we will aboard into a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for 30 to 40 minutes (approximately) ride to Río Chiquito, a little town at the other side of the lake. Once at Río Chiquito, you leave the boat and make a short break to strength the legs, followed by another 1 ½ hour microbus ride to get to the hotels in Monteverde. Afternoon visit to Selvatura Walk Ways.
SELVATURA’S CANOPY WALKWAYS
These are the best way to enjoy peacefully and safely of the virgin cloud forest canopy. Through the bridge system and over 1.6 miles if easy walking trails you can enjoy the marvels of the cloud forest and get the chance to see some of the world’s most amazing and beautiful flora and fauna. The canopy walkways feature eight bridges with different lengths, for a total of 2400 feet of total bridge length crossing through altitudes of up to 240 feet.

Day 6 Monteverde > Central Pacific
Breakfast at hotel and then transfer from Monteverde to Central Pacific Coast with visit to Carara National Park en-route.
CARARA NATIONAL PARK
Relatively small in size (4,700 Hectares), the massive importance of Carara stemsfrom its geographical location in a transition area between the Tropical Dry Forest region to the north, and the more humid Pacific Rainforest to the south. Carara has flora and fauna from both ecosystems and the virgin forest that covers most of the park is the ideal environment for such rare wildlife as the Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao), the Collared Aracari (Pteroglossus torquatos) and monkeys.
After tour, journey continues to Punta Leona hotel for check in.

Day 7 Bijagual Waterfalls
Breakfast at hotel.
This day you will enjoy a tour to “Bijagual Waterfall.
Plummeting from cliffs deep in the jungle, the Bijagual waterfalls await to be discovered by explorers willing to take the challenge and extract its secrets. Climbing the small range between Carara National Park and the protected zone of Turrubares, the road to Bijagual is a rewarding experience, filled with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the coastal fishing villages, alternating with dramatic changes in
vegetation. After this scenic drive, you continue on horseback facilitating access to this magical place.

Transfer from Central Pacific Coast back to San José International Airport for the flight back home (2 hour driving time).
