Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica!
Arrival to Juan SantamarÃa International Airport. Meet and Greet by our Local Representative and transfer to your hotel. On the way to the hotel you will receive a complete orientation about the activities of the following days and your traveler documents.

Day 2 San Jose – Arenal Area

At 09:00 am, private transfer from San José to Arenal Volcano area. During the ground transfers

Day 3 Arenal Volcano Area
 Breakfast at the hotel; today participants may select one of the following activities:
HORSEBACK RIDING TO ARENAL VOLCANO
With our healthy and well trained horses, we start this incredible guided tour, from the hotel for 3 hours, crossing rivers and through the trails in the rain forest, enjoying all the views of the San Carlos plains, and the amazing lava paths of the majestic Arenal Volcano. We can see also, monkeys, birds like toucans, turkeys, hawks, falcons etc.
HIKING TOUR TO ARENAL VOLCANO
An unique experience, guided hiking tour through the rain forest, to spot monkeys, and birds, with a lot of explanations about flora, fauna and the volcano history. This hike will be during 2 hours, around a loop. After that, we will take the bus, to go to the west side of the Arenal Volcano, where according to weather conditions; we can see red lava flows.
CANOPY TOUR
You will enjoy different platforms where you can see the impressive Canyon of the Arenal River and the extraordinary flora and fauna of the rain forest. You will have the opportunity to see the three kinds of monkeys that live in this zone, toucans, hummingbird, sloths, etc.

Day 4 Arenal–Monteverde
Breakfast at the hotel.
Around 07:35 am, pick up at the hotel for ground & boat transfer to Monteverde. Upon arrival to
Monteverde, check in at the hotel. Clients can wait at the lobby of the hotel for the room to be prepared.
ARENAL TO MONTEVERDE BY ARENAL LAKE
This service, half tour – half transfer is a scenic, fast and the newest way to go or come from La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano Area) to Monteverde area. We start with a 30 minutes microbus drive to the Arenal Lake Dam. There we will aboard into a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 30 to 40 minutes (approximately) ride to RÃo Chiquito, a little town at the other side of the lake. Once at RÃo Chiquito, you leave the boat and make a short break to strength the legs, followed by another 1 ½ hour microbus ride to get to the hotels in Monteverde.

Day 5 Monteverde - Central Pacific Coast

07:20 PM Pick up at the hotel for the Monteverde Cloud Forest Private Reserve Tour. Clients will
enjoy a hiking through the forest.
MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST RESERVE
Located high in the Tilarán Mountain Range, at an altitude of about 4300 feet above sea level, Monteverde is one of Costa Rica's most scenic spots. Monteverde is now best known for its biological reserve, which is a paradise for researchers and nature lovers. This misty, magical private cloud forest preserve protects a treasure trove of rare flora and fauna, including the three-wattle bellbird and legendary resplendent quetzal - one of the most beautiful birds in the world. This is the perfect place for the family to experience, or for anyone who wants close contact with nature.
11:30 AM Return to hotel to get ready for your departure to Manuel Antonio located on the beautiful Central Pacific Coast.
12:30 PM Private transfer from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio area. During the ground transfers guests may request any stop en-route to take pictures, visiting any attraction, or taking lunch (on your own). Upon Arrival to the hotel, check in and the rest of the day is for leisure.

Day 6 Manuel Antonio
 Breakfast in the hotel. Followed by departure to Manuel Antonio National Park.
MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK
(Closed on Mondays)
Our experienced naturalist guide will take clients into an informative hike through beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park. Though the main attractions of this park are its two white sand beaches - Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio – it also protects coastal rain forest, a mangrove swamp, coral formations and 12 islands that serve as seabird sanctuaries. The guide will teach about the park's distinctive plant life and point out some of the resident fauna.
