This is a great option for nature lovers to discover the exhuberant Brazilian Amazon region in the surroundings of Manaus city. The tour by boat represents the closest interaction one can have with the local nature and with the native people of the region.

- The Traditional Amazon riverboats offer basic comfort such as double cabins with bunk berths, private toilet & shower facilities and night time air-conditioning.
- The Premium (new boat) offers the comfort of a Hotel. It offers 16 comfort cabins, private bathrooms with hot shower, lower beds, individual air-conditioning, safety boxes, television and minibar in all cabins.
This package has a REGULAR GUARANTEED departure cruise schedule (no minimum of pax required) with tours departing on Wednesdays.
When to go: All the year round.
Flood season occurs between Jan and Aug.
Dry season occurs between Sep and Dec (easier to see birds and other animals).
Apr to Dec is easier to see and tour around the “Igapós� – flooded forest regions.

Day 1 Manaus (Wednesday)
Reception at the airport and transfer to the pier.
Boat leaves the Tropical Hotel landing-stage at 14:00 PM. On board presentation of the staff, route and facilities. Navigation to the Pagodão river (tributary of the Negro). Canoe trip shortly before sunset, returning after dark, with the possibility of observing animals. Dinner. Navigation to Acu Creek or nearby tributaries. Overnight at boat.

Day 2 On Cruise (Thursday)
Walk in the forest with a specialist. Observation of the local flora. Visit to a "caboclo" family (locals). It is a chance to observe the local way of life, preparation of manioc flour (the staple foodstuff of the Amazon), the health and education situation of the children, etc.
After Lunch, navigation through the Anavilhanas, the world's largest fresh water archipelago, more then 1000 miles from the ocean. Visit to the village of Novo Airao, with its sawmills, market and other attractions. Navigation.
Night trip to see caimans and possibly frogs, sloths, snakes and other species, depending on the season. Overnight at boat.

Day 3 On Cruise (Friday)
Navigation to Praia Grande or other white sand beach. Swimming if conditions are favorable and observation of the vegetation of sandy areas. Canoe trip to lake Acajatuba or adjacent lake domains to see typical flora (rubber trees, Brazil nuts, useful palm trees of various types). Piranha fishing.
Stop at the Paricatuba community to see old abandoned rubber-boom buildings, now overgrown with strangler fig trees. Overnight at boat.

Day 4 On Cruise (Saturday)
Lake January. Canoe trip at sunrise for bird watching. Breakfast. Navigation to the "Meeting of the Waters" of the Negro and Solimões rivers. It is possible to dive in the region, see the difference in the rivers’ colors and feel the 8°C difference in temperature of both rivers waters.
Return to the Tropical Hotel landing-stage, with fine views of Manaus' waterfront. Arrival at 13:30 hrs.
Transfer to the airport.
