Day 1 Arrive Lima
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a tour of colonial and modern Lima. You will see the Government Palace, the Plaza Mayor, the City Hall and the Cathedral, including 17th century San Francisco Monastery. The tour ends with a visit to the modern suburbs of San Isidro, before continuing to Miraflores, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

Day 2 Lima
After breakfast, you will visit the Anthropology and Archaeology Museum and then continue to the Larco Museum, which has a private collection of more than 45,000 pieces of craftsmanship.

Day 3 Lima > Cuzco
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival, begin your journey to the Sacred Valley. En route, stop at the colourful Indian market in Pisac. After lunch, visit the oldest continuously occupied settlement in the Americas. Ollantaytambo’s narrow streets, complete with canals unchanged since Inca times, recall its ancient heritage.

Day 4 Machu Picchu
After breakfast, transfer to Ollanta Station for your Vistadome train to Machu Picchu. Enjoy the magnificent scenery en route to the Lost City of the Incas. Upon arrival, tour Machu Picchu, one of the most renowned examples of pre-Hispanic architecture.
Overnight at Aguas Calientes.

Day 5 Machu Picchu > Cuzco
If you wish, you may visit Machu Picchu again and watch the sun rise over the mountain top citadel. (Entrance fee and transfer not included.) In the afternoon board the train for your return to Cuzco. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 6 Cuzco
In the afternoon, enjoy tour of Cuzco and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca-Pucara and the Tambomachay ruins.

Day 7 Cuzco > Puno
Leave Cuzco today and transfer by bus to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. En route, you will stop at the church of Andahuaylillas, the Raqchi Ruins (Temple of God Wiracocha) and La Raya (border between Cuzco and Puno). Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

Day 8 Lake Titicaca
Transfer from Puno to Copacabana by bus and visit the Cathedral and Main Square, then board a catamaran for your transfer to Sun Island, with buffet lunch on board. Upon arrival on Sun Island (South side), visit the Inca Garden, Inca Steps, Inti Wata Complex (museum).
Continue to Sun Island (North side), where you will visit the Challapampa native village, sail on a typical reed vessel and see an ancient Kallawaya ceremony. The catamaran overnights here with buffet dinner and a native folkloric show.

Day 9 Puno
Buffet breakfast on board and departure back to Puno. Upon arrival you will transfer to your hotel.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Enroute, visit the Sillustani burial stone towers.
